Beauty on TIME’s 100 Most Influential? It’s About Time.

TIME just released its 2025 list of the 100 Most Influential Companies — and this year, beauty brands have claimed their spot. Read the piece here.

Frankly, it’s long overdue. For years, the beauty industry has been dismissed as superficial, but these brands show just how innovative, science-driven, and culturally relevant it really is.

Here’s who made the list:

  • Debut, blending biotech and beauty to deliver sustainable, high-performance ingredients.

  • L’Oréal, the legacy leader pushing deeper into data, science, and smart acquisitions.

  • Touchland, proving that even something as basic as hand sanitizer can be reimagined as a must-have lifestyle accessory.

  • e.l.f., the fast-moving, trend-savvy disruptor that makes quality beauty accessible (and just bought Rhode for $1 billion).

What ties them together? They understand what today’s consumers actually want: real results, transparency, and products that align with our values and fast-paced lives.

Seeing these names on TIME’s list is more than a nice headline, it’s a signal that beauty is no longer just about looking good. It’s science, sustainability, culture, and smart business strategy all at once. Brands that get this balance right will keep shaping the industry, and they deserve to be recognized alongside the biggest players in tech, finance, and beyond.

As a beauty brand founder myself, I find this inspiring. It’s a reminder that there’s always room to innovate, connect deeply with our customers, and push this industry forward in ways that really matter.

Who do you think should be on the list next year? I know I’ll be watching and building for it!
